Balance Lab for Everyone

Balance is a key indicator of health and wellness.

Aspire Motion Connect uses a single small wearable sensor and patented AI methods to measure and analyze balance and stability.

Wearable sensors are used by clinicians and researchers to diagnose and manage balance impairments. Sensors capture inertial data such as acceleration, rotation, and orientation. The Aspire Sensor captures inertia data from near the body's center of mass which reflects overall trunk stability and body balance.

The data is calculated into various parameters such as sway velocity, sway area, sway trajectory. Clinicians and researchers use these parameters to form a comprehensive understanding of an individual's balance capabilities and deficits.

Aspire Motion Connect provides similar insights without the need for specialized equipment or training. The AI algorithms process the data and transform the metrics into consumer friendly interfaces that are easy to understand and apply.

Aspire Motion Connect measures and analyzes both isometric (static) and dynamic balance exercises designed to simulate movements used in daily activities.

The goal of the static exercises is to maintain an isometric position with minimal trunk movement for the duration of the exercise.

The objective of the dynamic exercises is to perform specific movements and repetitions that target key muscle groups used in everyday life while maintaining maximum core and trunk stability.

The insights into an individual’s performance of these exercises enable better recovery and rehabilitation, strengthen muscles, and proactively prevent falls.
